Memorial Day Weekend: Antipasto, Charcuterie, Cheese Platter Paired with ROSE’ LIME & BLANC LIME
The Wine
BLANC LIME & ROSE’ LIME
I don’t often think of wine as fun, but this wine is fun, very well made, and maybe the next big thing. It is a must try wine ̶ perfect for a summer brunch, a picnic, or dinner on the beach.
The Ducourt family and Jean Pierre Xiradakis, the owner of the renowned restaurant “La Tupina”, decided to resurrect the summertime drink of choice from the 1950s. Served and made famous in the cafés of South-West France and the brasseries of Paris.
BLANC LIME’, made from, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Natural citrus aromas (lime, grapefruit, etc.), water, sugar, and a touch of fizz. Pale yellow with green tints, and aromas of, lively, fresh, lemon zest with a note of Entre-Deux-Mers Sauvignon Blanc, leading you to a crisp clean, subtle sweetness countered by the balanced acidy and enhanced by the fizz leaving with a clean finish.
ROSE’ LIME’, Made from Merlot grown in Entre-Deux-Mers and natural red fruit and citrus, water and sugar, and some bubbles. Dazzling pale pink, with Subtle, fresh, aromas of red berries and grapefruit zest and a note of Entre-Deux-Mers Merlot mix for a fresh, crisp, wine with a touch of sweetness married with a gentle, fine sparkle and a clean finish
Both of these wines are perfectly suited as a pre-dinner drink, by itself, or with tapas, charcuterie, canapés, or sushi. Can be served with cold salads, spicy dishes and light desserts.
