We are excited to welcome Dr. Lippold to Cork.  He is bringing with him three wines for us to sample.

Empress Josephine's Riesling - This Riesling originates from the beautiful Mosel valley in Germany, where the river Mosel joins the river Rhine.  This wine expresses clearly what classic Mosel Riesling stands for and makes it unique as the most versatile and food friendly wine in the world.  Try it with traditional fare or modern style like Asian, Tex-Mex, Indian, and fusion.

Weltersberg - Urziger "Würzgarten"  - Since centuries the "Würzgarten"  has been considered as one of the best vineyard sites on the Mosel. The small sized berries are the fruits from genuine rootstock vines of an average age of 55 years.  Typical for famed Mosel Rieslings, it will gain great complexity in the years to come with an expected life at proper storage of at least 20 years.

Sparkling Moselle Riesling Dry - A deja vu?  Certainly!  At the turn of the 20th century, Sparkling Riesling from the Moselle river valley was more esteemed in the USA than French Champagne and legendary throughout the world.  This Sparkling Risling is made from selected vintage wines from the Moselle.
